Grinder's third and final full-length release pretty much continues Grinder's style of thrash, though it kind of separates itself from the first 2 albums. 'Nothing Is Sacred' combines the atmospheric parts of 'Dawn for the Living' with the more straightforward thrash aspect of 'Dead End'.
Conflict between Michaels and DeVille culminated in a fistfight backstage at the 1991 MTV Video Music Awards, provoked by DeVille's inept live performance. After bringing "Unskinny Bop" to a grinding halt, DeVille launched into "Talk Dirty To Me", forcing the band to switch songs in mid-performance.
Nov 11, 2003· Grinder Grinder played pretty standard speed/thrash metal -- though German, they often sounded more like American thrash bands of that time. Possibly a victim of underexposure, as Noise Records had a crowded roster of quality bands at the time and they didn't seem to be well promoted.
